Townsend House is designed to provide a warm, comforting atmosphere while accommodating the special needs of seniors. From the circular drive to the gracious living areas, Townsend House reflects a thoughtful consideration of the needs of our residents. The open floor plan, beautiful furnishing, and inviting courtyard create a comfortable, “at home” environment.
Residents enjoy individually decorated rooms with half or full baths and many kitchenettes. All rooms have phone and cable outlets as well as their own thermostat for individual comfort. Townsend House was designed with safety as first priority. A resident call system with pendants, secured building perimeters and easy access showers all promote safety and maximize independence.
Our staff members enjoy working with seniors and take great pride in their work. All staff complete an in-house training program to meet our residents’ special needs. We also welcome family and friends as visitors and as participants in the many activities provided at Townsend House.
Our Facility
Townsend House is designed to provide a warm and comforting homelike atmosphere while accommodating the special needs of seniors. From the circular drive to the gracious living areas, Townsend House reflects a thoughtful consideration of the needs of our residents. Comfortable surroundings with an at-home atmosphere are balanced with an open floor plan, beautiful furnishing, and an inviting courtyard.
Private rooms with half baths and full baths are available. Semi-private rooms are also available. All rooms have phone and cable outlets as well as their own thermostat for individual comfort. An intercom and emergency call system is installed in all rooms for resident safety. Bathrooms are designed with safety as first priority. Grab bars, easy access showers with shower benches are all designed to maximize independence and promote safety.
Our Staff
Caring and competent are how our residents describe the staff at Townsend House. Our staff members enjoy working with seniors and take great pride and fulfillment in their work. At Townsend House, we know the importance of family and the need for maintaining close communication with residents’ family members. We want the family to be informed about their loved one’s health or progress. Family members with questions or concerns are invited to contact Townsend House for information.
